6th Grade Summer Reading List
Please see the book list below and choose a book to read for this assignment. As you read, you must log your reading time. Use the reading log sheet provided on the attached page and continue another sheet if needed. You are expected to read at least 3 days per week throughout the summer.

- Heading: Please write your full name, grade 6, the book title and the author on all relevant pages.
- In 6th grade, you may be reading these novels: A Long Walk to Water Linda Sue Park and Posted by John David Anderson. Please keep that in mind as you make your reading selections over the summer, and do NOT read those ahead of time.
- It is very important that you complete this assignment with care because it will be collected by your ELA teacher during the first week of school. It will count towards your first marking period grade.
