Principal’s Message

With the new school year nearly upon us, it is with great honor and enthusiasm that I write to you today as the new Principal of Edward Bleeker JHS 185.

As many of you may know, I have had the privilege of serving our school community for the past 18 years, most recently as Assistant Principal for the last 6 years. In that time, I've had the opportunity and honor to witness the incredible achievements and growth of both our students and our staff. Today, as I step into this new role, my commitment to nurturing our vibrant, inclusive school culture is stronger than ever.

Our school's vision, “Success for All,” continues to guide our initiatives and practices. As we embark upon this academic year, we will continue to invest in the development of our faculty. Our teachers will continue to receive professional learning that enables them to strengthen core instruction. We aim to know each student as an individual learner and to support them throughout their academic journey, ultimately empowering them to become lifelong learners themselves.

I want to express my deep commitment to ensuring that each student at Edward Bleeker JHS 185 thrives. Together, with your support and collaboration, I am confident in our pursuit of “Success for All.”
